Okay so this is a total rip off of this amazing woman who does 101cookbooks. One of my favorite food/recipe/cooking blogs/sites. But I had to put these in because I was worried I would forget them and this blog is the one thing that really helps me to keep track of important things. First: Anna Gleeson's Blog I'm totally diggin' this bento box series.
Second: Rhondal McKinney, Amazing, dark, work. I couldn't pull an image but I mean regardless how could I choose?
"You once said you like to use patterns to depict how things are forced to rely on each other". That line, that one right there, basically sums up everything I have ever believed in. This interview is really simple and straight forward. I love it so much. All at HUH Magazine.
I've always been kind of opposed to Jelly/Gelatin. But oh my, Bompas and Parr might change my mind. If they don't they might just completely obliterate me.
I find Nacho Alegre to be incredibly versatile. Between his portrait work, interiors and still lifes. I love his work for Apartamento. I love when photos can appear so simple and off the cuff. Then on second glance you see how incredibly in depth they are.
I've been seeing Alejandro Cartagena's work everywhere. What with PDN's 30 photogs. to watch and Critical Mass in 2009 why wouldn't he be in high circulation. Loving this work.
A little piece to Critical Mass 2010 though. Seventy five dollars to submit, really? Then $200 smackers if you get passed the first round? Shouldn't that be reversed? Although, I will say they do select some great people. I am so torn!
Let's just focus on the serenity of Alejandro's photograph.
